His name is Sam and I adopted him four years ago while in college. I believe he is a Columbia Green Iguana and is roughly 8 years old. He has been on a strict diet of assorted greens, veggies and fruits. Sam is about 4'8" in length and loves to free roam and be in his cage. I recently built a solid hemlock enclosure with tempered glass doors. The cage is built well and accurately. The dimensions are 5'2" wide, 24.5" deep and 6'7" tall. The cage also comes with the matching light hood which includes a 48" UVB 10.0 Repti Sun bulb, two 150w Repti Sun Basking Lights, and a 100w Zoo Med Heat Emitter and Black Light for additional night temperaments. The hood adds an additional 10" to the hieght of the enclosure. Sam is well behaved and loves interaction. He has been potty trained to use his water dish in his cage and overall is the best iguana I have ever owned. Im living in the Portland area and really need to find Sam a good home. Im looking for someone that has past experience or currently has an iguana to take Sam. I am also willing to find Sam a home on temporary basis if I found the right person. Im leaving for the summer and have run out of options. If anyone can help please let me know. My asking price is really to cover my cost on the cage. I would rather give Sam away if I knew it would be to someone that would take care of him as well as I have. Thanks!
